Congratulations to Northern Kentucky based Strategic Ethical Solutions for obtaining the Women Owned Small Business (WOSB) certification awarded by the U.S. Small Business Administration’s (SBA). This prestigious certification qualifies Strategic Ethical Solutions for the Women-Owned Small Business Federal Contracting Program (WOSB Program), as set forth in Title 13, Part 127 of the Code of Federal Regulations (CFR).
The WOSB Program started in 2010 as a women's procurement program to assist the government in meeting it's 5% women-owned small business contracting goal. Over the years, the program has continued to evolve to better meet the needs of the increasing number of program applicants. Joining the WOSB program makes Strategic Ethical Solutions eligible to compete for federal contracts set aside for the program or possibly receive sole source contracts. While the government limits competition for certain contracts to businesses that participate in SBA’s Woman-Owned Small Business (WOSB), these programs require significant commitment on the part of the business to market it’s products and/or services in order to succeed.
